This page explains how a customer authorizes a tow or roadside service through Upick.

Customer Authorization

By submitting a tow or roadside service request through Upick, the customer authorizes Upick and/or an assigned independent operator to respond to the requested pickup location and perform the selected service.

The customer confirms that they have the legal right to request service for the vehicle, or that they are acting with permission from the vehicle owner.

Vehicle Access

Price and Payment

Upick may show an estimated or live price before the customer confirms service. Final charges may depend on distance, vehicle condition, location risk, weather, service type, wait time, or other disclosed factors.

Payment may be required before a request is released, completed, or closed depending on the service flow.

Safety and Operator Discretion

Operators may refuse, pause, or modify service if conditions are unsafe, unlawful, inaccessible, or materially different from the request details.

Customers should stay in a safe location and follow local laws while waiting for roadside assistance.

Independent Operators

Upick may connect customers with independent tow or roadside operators. Operators are responsible for performing services safely and professionally according to applicable laws and licensing requirements.
